MacroI took some time this weekend to work on some macro photography. I spent lots of time and worked on my patience with the wind and busy bees trying to capture some close up shots of insects and rain drops on flowers. Using only manual focusing and having to constantly re-focus my shots with the bees moving or the wind blowing my subject around....I defiantly worked hard for my shots!
Jankord MaternityThis evening I had the honor of capturing this couples first maternity session! Lauren and Seth have been client's of mine since their first engagement session. I also was honored to capture their wedding day and I am so excited seeing this couple's journey into parenthood. Congratulations Seth and Lauren!
Jagneaux FamilyToday was the Jagneaux family session in Wichita! It was a bit chilly for the girls who later wrapped up in some blankets to keep warm. We had lots of laughs and adorable little moments. Thank you Jagneaux family for another great session!
Taleeya 18 MonthsThis evening was Taleeya's 18 month session. She has grown so much over the last year and I have had the honor of taking her pictures ever single month for the first 12 months of her life! I just love all her adorable outfits her Mommy Chandra brings to each session and this session was filled with adorable summer outfits and fun costumes such as a peacock, lady bug, and watermelon bathing suit. I just adore this Sneak Peek of Miss T!
Johnston WeddingToday JC of Old 81 Studios and I went to Haysville Kansas to capture the Johnston's adorable outdoor ceremony. I LOVED their ceremony location which had so many great backgrounds with flowers, foliage, cute little buildings and even a tractor...and I just adore this wrought iron fence in the Sneak Peek. Congrats Erika & Justin, we loved working with you on your special day!
NevaehI always enjoy working with Vaeh and her family and this session was once again a blast! This evening we had a gorgeous day in Hutchinson for pictures and so many fun backgrounds. We started the session with family pictures then had a outfit change for fun & colorful Hip Hop themed pictures for Nevaeh's upcoming 10th Birthday. I love this portrait shot of Vaeh from her first outfit look showing just how flawless and beautiful she truly is and the second shot from her Hip Hop Birthday pics is full of attitude. I am excited to post my faves from her session soon to show her family filled, colorful/Hip Hop themed session!!
MakiI have had the pleasure of taking this beautiful young ladies photos several times along with her siblings. Today we met up for her High School Senior portraits. Unfortunately it was a cold and windy day...not the best for a photo session, but Maki was a real trooper. I just love her elegance in this image!

AliciaWith my new gear here, I needed to try it out and of course I turned to my bestie/model Alicia. We had so much fun with this practice session as I needed to familiarize myself with the new gear and she need some new portfolio shots. LOVE how her shots turned out!
