Throw Back Thursday ~ 2010

It's Throw Back Thursday and I thought a little nod to my Sony a330 would be just right for today! As my very first DSLR, I learned SO much from this little gal. She taught me about photography in a way I never expected! She traveled with me everywhere capturing the good, the bad, and the down right ugly, lol! This was a great starter camera and the perfect learning tool for me as a self-taught photographer....and has left its mark on me with the Sony brand! I have tried Canon and Nikon cameras, but have always turned back to Sony...what I know, what I learned with, what feels comfortable in my hands...it's my home! ~Cassandra

Saturday evening I met up with my High School friend Danielle and her adorable daughter Emmie in Newton for her 3 year photos. This little girl has a special place in my heart! I have worked with Emmie in the past when she was about 18 months old...she is no stranger to me. I must admit that Emmie is one of the easiest toddlers to photograph because she listens so well, loves to smile and giggle, and has such a wonderful personality!! Her photos are absolutely ADORABLE....Love you Emmie! ~Cassandra

Don't leave 'Fido' behind when scheduling your photo session! Cassandra specializes in pet photography and can work with any type of pet on location. Just let her know you will be bringing along your pet(s) for the session! Your pet will bring a different dynamic to your images if you are taking a portrait session, family session, even engagement session, you will be so thrilled that you brought your buddy along to share in your photo session!

Throw Back Thursday ~ 2009

"Hey, go pose it out in that pile of road asphalt!" Simply AH-MA-ZING! Yes, that is my beautiful younger sis and the reason I have a photography business today!! She is and always will be my #1 Model! Oh, did I forget to mention this was taken with a 7MP Polaroid point & shoot camera...YES, just goes to show you don't need an expensive camera and tons of equipment to make an awesome image! This was before I upgraded to my very first "baby" DSLR and was still figuring out what the heck I was doing...and yet still rocked it...with a point & shoot! ~Cassandra

JC and I must be feeling some nostalgia on our collaboration photos from 2012! He recently posted the "Little Beauty" photo below on Facebook reminding me of how great of a team we make!

In 2012 JC Kirk from Old 81 Studios and myself brought together our best skills to make 2 very unique and beautiful images! JC is an AMAZING & very skilled photographer. He captured these two studio images of his daughter against a green backdrop. These images were great on their own, but I took them to the next level transforming them into eye catching images & works of art with my editing skills & technique. We truly make a great team combining our talents! It maybe time for JC and I to do another photo project...it has been way to long! ~ Cassandra

WOW, what a BEAUTIFUL family! The Mosier family was amazing to work with and their little girl is so adorable sharing with me her sweet little smiles...and tongue, haha! It was a great day, sunny, 60 degree weather which was PERFECT for their first family session... the Sneak Peek says it all!

Ok....so I must say, this was a very fun night shoot! I have been wanting to do a night shoot for a while and got a great opportunity when my dad decided to build a burn pile on their property. I love how this shot turned out with the stars, fire, smoke, and trees!!

I LOVE going to the State Fair every year in September...the food, the rides, the interesting people, and of course getting awesome shots! This was a beautiful shot I got of the moon & ferris wheel as the sun was setting!

Hello!

My name is Adrianna and I would like to thank you in advance for your interest in me as your photographer. I am a photographer here at Strikker Images and love it so much. I am a mother of a 5 year old son named Alex and he is the light of my life. I thank god everyday that I have him in my life. He is the reason I have developed a love for photography. I have captured many memories of him from the day he was born up until now. I enjoy being able to have those photos to look back and reflect on my favorite past times. That is my hope for my clients as well.

I work full time as a CNA and am currently working towards becoming a registered nurse. I believe photographs are important because they are a way of holding onto that moment after its gone and a way of being able to remember those who have gone before us. The love of photography allows me to meet new people and get to know their families and gives me endless opportunities. I enjoy getting to know my clients as we shoot it becomes so much more than just a job to me. I look forward to working with many new and existing clients!
